Darren Gersh
Washington Bureau Chief, Nightly Business Report



Darren Gersh reports on economic and business issues for PBS-TV's Nightly Business Report. As the program's Washington Bureau Chief, he has covered everything from presidential politics, the federal budget and mutual funds to healthcare issues.

Before joining Nightly Business Report, Mr. Gersh was Associate Producer for Money Politics at WJLA in Washington, D.C. From 1987-88, he served as a News Producer for WJXT in Jacksonville, Florida.

Mr. Gersh began his career in television by producing a documentary on labor and competitiveness issues for the Roosevelt Center, a think tank in Washington, D.C. He is a 1984 cum laude graduate of Yale University, with a B.A. in English.
