Steven Hill
Director, Political Reform Program, New America Foundation & author of "Europe's Promise"



Steven Hill is Director of the Political Reform Program at the New America Foundation.

His previous books include "Ten Steps to Repair American Democracy" (PoliPoint Press, May 2006), "Fixing Elections: The Failure of America's Winner Take All Politics" (Routledge Press, 2002) and "Whose Vote Counts" (co-author, Beacon Press, 2001). His book “Europe Rising” will be published by the University of California Press in 2009.

His articles and commentaries have appeared in The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, International Herald Tribune, Prospect, The Guardian, Prague Post, and other leading publications.

Mr. Hill received a B.A. from Yale University.
