Jean-Marc Vittori

Jean-Marc Vittori is a lead writer for the daily newspaper Les Echos, where he specializes in macroeconomics and economic theory. He can also frequently be heard on the radio and is a member of the governing board of Association Française de Science Economique.

Born in 1958, Jean-Marc Vittori has a master’s degree in economics and is a graduate of Sciences Po, Paris. He was a journalist for 15 years for the magazines Le nouvel Economiste, Challenges and L’Expansion, which he edited from 2001-2002.

He wrote the Dictionnaire d’économie à l’usage des non-économistes (2008) and L’effet sablier (2009), both published by Grasset.
