Sergio Marchionne
CEO of Fiat



Sergio Marchionne has been the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Chrysler Group LLC since June 2009. He also is the CEO of Fiat S.p.A., where he has been a member of the board since 2003. From 1983 to 1985, he worked as a chartered accountant and tax specialist for Deloitte & Touche in Canada.

He also served as a non-executive chairman of UBS AG as its Senior Independent Director. In 2002, Mr. Marchionne was appointed CEO of the Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS) Group of Geneva. Mr. Marchionne studied philosophy at the University of Toronto, business at the University of Windsor, and law at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. He is a lawyer and a chartered accountant.

Mr. Marcionne served as the director of the Peter G. Peterson Institute for International Economics and is Chairman of the Council on the U.S. and Italy.
