Frank Partnoy
Director of the Center for Corporate and Securities Law at the University of San Diego



Frank Partnoy is the George E. Barrett Professor of Law and Finance and is the director of the Center for Corporate and Securities Law at the University of San Diego.

He is one of the world's leading experts on the complexities of modern finance and financial market regulation. His comments on these issues have been featured in the Financial Times, New York Times, NPR and "60 Minutes." He is the author of F.I.A.S.C.O.: Blood in the Water on Wall Street (W. W. Norton, 1997), Infectious Greed: How Deceit and Risk Corrupted the Financial Markets (PublicAffairs, 2009), and The Match King: Ivar Kreuger, The Financial Genius Behind a Century of Wall Street Scandals (PublicAffairs, 2009).

His most recent book is Wait: The Art and Science of Delay (PublicAffairs, 2012).
