Alexander Greenbaum
Senior Research Associate, New America Foundation



Alexander Greenbaum is a senior research associate in the Global Economic Policy Program at the New America Foundation.

His writing focuses on issues relating to international trade, finance and global economic development.

Prior to joining the New America Foundation, Mr. Greenbaum was a Research Associate at the Economic Strategy Institute, where he concentrated on international trade and economics.

He has worked in the Economic and Trade section of the Canadian Embassy in Washington — and was a Research Associate in the Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Trade Division at the Congressional Research Service of the Library of Congress.

Mr. Greenbaum received a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s in economics and econometrics from Manchester University, United Kingdom.
