Mario Scherhaufer
Director of the Caucasus School of Journalism and Media Management



Mario Scherhaufer, a native of Austria, is responsible for Arthur F. Burns and Stephen M. Kellen German-exchange fellowship programs at the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ).

Additionally, Mr. Scherhaufer serves as Washington's program director for the Tbilisi-based Caucasus School of Journalism and Media Management (CSJMM).

Mr. Scherhaufer works on the CSJMM's program concept, curricula, faculty, implementation, budgeting and evaluation.

He holds a B.A. in Communications from East Carolina University (1999) and a M.M.C. in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University (2001).
