Nuimuddin Chowdhury
Bangladesh-based Economist



Nuimuddin Chowdhury runs Grameen Software Limited, a company chaired by Professor Muhammad Yunus, the founder of the Grameen Bank in Bangladesh.

He wrote the two case studies published on The Globalist while a consultant for The Century Foundation in New York.

Mr. Chowdhury was trained in Economics at Punjab University in Lahore, Pakistan — and at the University of Cambridge, England.

He worked in various capacities for the Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS), the World Bank and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI).
