Lex Rieffel is currently a visiting fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C.
His expertise includes debt restructuring, developing countries, global poverty/foreign assistance, the IMF/World Bank, Indonesia and Peacekeeping/reconstruction.
Mr. Rieffel is currently working on the issue of political and economic transition in Indonesia, debt restructuring for Argentina and Iraq, private capital flows to emerging market countries, the role of the Peace Corps and other volunteer sending organizations in tackling global challenges such as poverty, HIV/AIDS and post-conflict reconstruction.
Lex Rieffel holds an M.A. from Tufts University and a B.A. from Princeton University.
