Michael McCarthy is The Globalist’s managing editor, in which capacity he oversees every aspect of the company’s syndicated, subscription and free content.

He has held several positions at The Globalist, including features editor and editorial assistant. Prior to joining The Globalist, he worked on Senator Tom Daschle's 2004 re-election campaign.

Mr. McCarthy graduated summa cum laude with a degree in political communication from The George Washington University.

A native of Dallas, Texas, his areas of interest include politics, international affairs, economics and media studies.
