Defense and Foreign Policy Researcher




Malou Innocent is a defense and foreign policy research assistant at a Washington, D.C. research organization.

Before moving to Washington, she worked at the District Office of California Congressman Pete Stark.

Her primary research interests are military strategy, counterinsurgency, political philosophy, Middle East security issues, and U.S. foreign policy toward China. Her letters and articles have appeared in the Chicago Policy Review, Los Angeles Times, The Jerusalem Post and Rolling Stone.

She received her B.A. in Mass Communications and Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley — and her M.A. in International Relations from the University of Chicago.
