Does the Bush Administration need a "time out" to reconsider U.S.-EU relations?

The Globalist's mission is to cover the biggest story of our lifetime — globalization. Schools and universities are a particular focus of our work. To underscore our educational mission, The Globalist's editorial team is guided by a multi-disciplinary Academic Advisory Council. The members of our Council are outstanding teachers and leading minds on global issues at universities all over the world.

he primary mission of our Academic Advisory Council is to ensure that our content helps overcome the increasing "canonization" of the debate on global issues.

The Council is composed of distinguished academics specializing in law, government, public policy, international relations, economics and political science — as well as leading-edge researchers in Asian, Latin American and African studies.

Helping the global community learn more about itself...

Members of our Academic Advisory Council advise on the current challenges of teaching globalization .

The Council members' advice helps us to stay on the cutting edge — by providing stimulating political analysis and research features on economic and cultural issues.

With their guidance, our work is dedicated to helping the emerging global community learn more about itself — based on multicultural values of fairness and inclusiveness.

Guiding The Globalist's educational mission

Members of our Academic Advisory Council are involved in the following ways:

Advise on current trends, requirements and challenges of teaching globalization
Provide their expertise to further strengthen the coursework we provide via our learning channels
Offer suggestions and feedback on the coursework available to college students via The Globalist's online learning channels — The University Channel and The Country Channel
Contribute articles sharing their approach to teaching global studies — as part of our "Teaching Globalization" series
Write occasional articles on their current research topics for use on The Globalist's public website and license-only content channels
Offer guidance on articles written by outside contributors as well as in-house writers
Engage in lively back-and-forth flow of new ideas and viewpoints

"The greatest danger to Americans today is that we don't look beyond our own borders. To look at the world from the inside out — and the outside in — I recommend reading The Globalist every day."
Joseph Nye
Dean, Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University
