University Channel™ Q&A
Helping university students prepare for the global society of the future...

Overview | Our programs of study | Why we write in English | Features we offer

Designed for today's interdisciplinary and multicultural learning environment, The Globalist's University Channel presents carefully selected features to explore globalization in an innovative and thematically based fashion.

What is the University Channel™?

The Globalist's University Channel is a subscription-based online learning resource available to university professors and their students. It provides leading-edge analysis to understanding key global issues in an interdisciplinary and multicultural context.

How does it work?

Conceptualized as a global balance sheet, The Globalist's University Channel explores a different aspect of globalization every week — through a selection of five theme-based and original features.

What topics does it cover?

Depending on a professor's needs and course requirements, we offer a variety of targeted semester-long programs on globalization issues. Each program consists of ten weekly packages of five features each. A professor may choose to subscribe to one or several of our available series to fit his or her needs.

Who can subscribe?

The University Channel is available by subscription to:

professors on a per-course basis
academic departments
faculty, staff and student body — via the university library

We do not provide access to The University Channel on an individual subscription basis.

What do I get?

A subscription provides online access to one — or several — of the currently available series of The Globalist's University Channel.

Subscribers will be given access to the full contents of the ten weekly "packages" four weeks prior to the beginning of the semester. The University Channel also has a searchable archive to guide professors and students in their research.

What does each weekly "package" contain?

Each weekly package contains five original features related to a particular theme. The features in each weekly package range from quotes collections and factsheets to essays and quizzes. The content is designed to enrich the traditional political science, history, economics, business and law literature over the course of a university semester.

What are the terms of subscription?

The subscription term is usually priced on a semester-basis. Over the course of the semester, a subscriber will have access to ten packages of five features.

How do I become a subscriber?

The University Channel is available in four feature series. So the first step is deciding which available series is the best one for you and your students.
