Ms. Davis has also served as the foreign editor and director of
news staffing at National Public Radio. She currently works in Prague
as the Associate Director of Broadcasting for Radio Free Europe/Radio
Liberty.
In
her more than 30 years of journalism, Ms. Davis has been a reporter,
columnist and editor in both broadcast and print. She began her
journalism career at The New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Ambassador,
anthropologist and author
Dr.
Ahmed has held many senior positions in Pakistan, including Pakistani
High Commissioner (Ambassador) to the United Kingdom. Born in Allahabad,
a small town on the Ganges River in what was then British India,
Dr. Ahmed is a distinguished anthropologist, writer and filmmaker.
He has been actively involved in inter-faith dialogue between Islam
and the West and is the Chair of Islamic Studies at American
University in Washington, D.C.
His
many award-winning books include Discovering Islam: Making Sense
of Muslim History and Society and Islam Today: A Short Introduction
to the Muslim World.
