Paul Sochaczewski

Paul Spencer Sochaczewski is a writer, writing coach, conservationist and communications advisor to international non-governmental organizations. He also runs the “Share Your Journey” writing workshops, which help people write about their journeys.

He has had more than 600 by-lined articles published in The New York Times, International Herald Tribune, Wall Street Journal, Geographical, CNN Traveller, Reader’s Digest and other publications.

Some of his recent books include, Share Your Journey: Mastering Personal Writing, Distant Greens: Golf, Life and Surprising Serendipity On and Off the Fairways among others.

He joined WWF International as Head of Creative Services in 1981 where he created international campaigns to protect rainforests and biological diversity; then managed the WWF Faith and Environment Network.

He joined the U.S. Peace Corps in 1969, following graduation from George Washington University with a degree in psychology. He served as an education advisor in Sarawak, a Malaysian state on the island of Borneo and then worked as a filmmaker, creative director of an advertising agency, and as a freelance journalist in Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand.
