Every day, our Globalist Radio Quiz™ asks irreverent questions — and gives astounding answers.

It creates suspense by offering listeners the opportunity to guess the right answer — which is then delivered in a to-the-point manner.

Our Globalist Radio Quiz plays off current events to educate and draw in listeners.

Radio Quiz 1: Backbone of the Global Economy

Saudi Arabia has proven oil reserves of 264 billion barrels — the largest of any country. Although the extent of the Saudis' oil supply is no real secret, the country with the second-largest proven oil reserves is much less well-known.

Which country has the world's second-largest reserves?

A. Russia
B. Iran
C. Iraq
D. United States

And the answer is, believe it or not, D. Iraq holds proven oil reserves of more than 112 billion barrels — the world's second-largest after Saudi Arabia. Iraq's proven oil resources represent about 11% of the world's total.

According to estimates, Iraqi territory contains another 220 billion barrels of so-called "probable" and "possible" oil resources. But after decades of war and sanctions, the country is still relatively unexplored. So Iraq's true resource potential may be far greater than anyone has so far imagined.

Radio Quiz 2: Wealth and the Gender Gap

Many people know that Microsoft founder Bill Gates tops the list of the world’s ten richest people. But the other members of this very exclusive club are far less well known.

Do you know how many of the world's ten richest people are women?

A. 0
B. 2
C. 5

Well, it’s no secret that women make up a bit more than half the world’s population. But the world has not yet reached the point where five of the top ten richest people on earth are women. In fact, only two women currently have a net worth that entitles them to make it into the top ten.

And who? How about Alice and Helen Walton — Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton’s daughter and wife? They are the only women among the world’s ten richest people.
