Professor

Adriano Figueiredo is an associate professor of economics at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul. He has published scientific journals in Brazil and in various other countries.

Mr. Figueiredo has experience in the area of economics with applications in agricultural economy, agricultural policy, regional economics, general equilibrium models, spatial econometrics and regional sustainable development.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (1993), a degree in economic sciences from Dom Bosco Catholic University (1994), and a Ph.D. in applied economics from the Federal University of Viçosa (2002). He did post-doctoral work at the Federal University of Viçosa through 2011.
