Kerry Cosby is a writer and researcher on international affairs. His areas of interest include civil society, social movements, political risk and democratization.

Mr. Cosby worked in Uzbekistan for the Peace Corps and in Azerbaijan at an international NGO for a total of nine years. In 2007, he was the chief editor for the United Nations Development Program’s Human Development Report for Azerbaijan. He has published in Foreign Policy and other online publications for international politics.

He holds a Master’s degree from the Department of Central Eurasian Studies at Indiana University and a B.A. at the University of Oklahoma.
