Michael Ignatieff

Director of the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard University

Michael Ignatieff is the Carr Professor of Human Rights Practice, and is the Director of the Carr Center of Human Rights Policy at Harvard University.

He is a former Senior Research Fellow at King’s College, Cambridge, and has held teaching posts at Harvard, Cambridge, Oxford, the University of California, the University of London and the London School of Economics.

Mr. Ignatieff served on the International Commission on Intervention and State Sovereignty.

He holds a PhD in history from Harvard University.
