Richard C. Longworth is a senior writer for the Chicago Tribune specializing in international and economic news. Mr. Longworth, a former business editor and columnist for the Tribune, was a foreign correspondent for 20 years and has won the Overseas Press Club Award twice, most recently for the series that was expanded into his book, “Global Squeeze.”

He has also won every major award for economic reporting. He is an adjunct professor of international relations at Northwestern University, lectures regularly at Columbia University and is a frequent speaker and broadcaster on global issues.
