Sarah Yerkes is a research assistant at the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution.

Ms. Yerkes currently works on issues of terrorism, political and economic reform in the Arab world and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Ms. Yerkes received her master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University in 2003, where she wrote on the formation of Yitzhak Rabin’s legacy.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Ms. Yerkes received her B.A. in International Studies and Middle Eastern Studies from Emory University in 2001.

Her articles have appeared in Middle East Insight and Reform Judaism Magazine.
