Chairman of the Managing Board of Siemens AG Since 1992, Mr. von Pierer has been Chairman of the Managing Board of Siemens AG. He joined Siemens in 1965, first in the Corporate Finance Department and later in the Legal Department. Prior to joining Siemens, Mr. von Pierer taught law at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
