Benedict Neff is the political correspondent of the Swiss daily newspaper “Neue Zürcher Zeitung” in Berlin. From 2013 to 2017 he worked for the “Basler Zeitung,” initially as an editor with a focus on Swiss politics and media, and later becaming a correspondent for the paper in Germany.
Mr. Neff studied German language and literature, history and religious studies at the universities of Zurich and Vienna. He holds a Master of Arts from the University of Zurich. He wrote his Master thesis about the confession in the roman-catholic church as an act of self-thematization.
Mr. Neff was born in Switzerland in 1983. He grew up in Schwyz.
