Eugene Linden is the author of seven books and for many years wrote about global environmental issues for Time magazine.

He has contributed to a numerous newspapers and journals, and in addition has won a number of journalistic awards, including the American Geophysical Union’s Walter Sullivan Award.

In 2001, Mr. Linden was named as a Poynter Fellow by Yale University in honor of his work in environmental journalism.
