Jacques Lafitte
Jacques Lafitte has more than two decades of government and private sector expertise. At the beginning of this career, he served in both the French and German Defense Ministries as well as in the French Treasury and spent some time at the German Bundesbank. From 1995 to 1999, he was in charge of creating the Euro in the Cabinet of the responsible EU Commissioner. He then served as Microsoft’s chief lobbyist in the EMEA region.
Later on, as a consultant, Jacques worked with more than 100 companies on mergers and antitrust issues. He retired from corporate consultancy and now helps European start-ups in biotech, nuclear and movies (both as producer and scriptwriter).
