Peter Ross Range

Peter Ross Range is a journalist and author.

A longtime specialist in Germany, Mr. Range has written two books on Adolf Hitler: “1924: The Year That Made Hitler” and “The Unfathomable Ascent: How Hitler Came to Power.”

As a journalist, Mr. Range has covered war, politics and international affairs. He was a Time Magazine foreign correspondent (Germany, Vietnam) and White House correspondent for U.S. News & World Report.

He has been published widely in The New York Times, The Washington Post, National Geographic, Der Spiegel and other publications.

Mr. Range has been a Visiting Fellow at Harvard’s Institute of Politics and the Woodrow Wilson Center for Scholars.

He lives in Washington, D.C.
