Subhash Agrawal is a New Delhi-based analyst and commentator on global affairs. He is founder-director of India Focus, a political risk consultancy that advises foreign investors on contemporary political, policy, economic and diplomatic issues related to India.

He has an MBA from Georgetown University and has worked and lived in the United States for many years. His views and commentary have been published frequently in global media such as The Asian Wall Street Journal, La Stampa, Huffington Post, Axess, Dagens Nyheter, Mainichi Shimbun and The Straits Times.

In India, he was a columnist for many years with The Financial Express and earlier with Outlook magazine. He is co-author of “Democracy in Asia: Roots, Voices & Cultural Impulses” (published by Civic Exchange, Hong Kong, 2006) and is an invited speaker on India at international conferences such as the Tallberg Forum (Sweden) and The Economist Roundtable (Hong Kong).
