Thomas Wright is a pre-doctoral research fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University and a doctoral candidate in international relations at Georgetown University.

His research focuses on the absence of balancing in the international system, the effects of unipolarity and U.S. grand strategy.

Mr. Wright previously worked as a public affairs consultant and has been a regular contributor of analysis and op-eds on international politics to a number of international newspapers and magazines.

He has a BA in history and politics and an MA in comparative politics from University College Dublin and a M Phil in international relations from Cambridge University.
