Alexander R. Thiel

Alexander Thiel is former McKinsey partner where, among other activities, he initiated the consulting firm’s Global Sporting Goods Practice

He is now active as a board member, senior advisor to multiple private equity and investment firms and himself an active investor into start-ups and Growth businesses.

Originally from Germany, he has been based in Switzerland for over ten years and by now holds both countries’ citizenships.

With an MBA from Stanford University and many years working in the United States and Asia, he is a truly global citizen.
