Gabrielle Oliveira

Gabrielle Oliveira is a doctoral candidate in the applied anthropology program at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Originally from Brazil, she has been doing research in immigration with children and youth in Mexico and their mothers and siblings in the United States.

Gabrielle holds a Master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University, where she focused on Latin American studies and gender policy. She is also a fellow at the National Academy for Education/Spencer Foundation and currently teaches at Columbia University.
