Director, Centre for the Geopolitics of Globalization and Transnational Security
Nayef Al-Rodhan is a senior member of St. Antony’s College at the University of Oxford and a senior fellow and director of the Centre for the Geopolitics of Globalization and Transnational Security at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy in Switzerland.
Mr. Al-Rodhan has published 21 books and numerous articles proposing many innovative concepts and theories in politics, security, philosophy and history. He is best known for several philosophical and analytical books on global politics and global security, including “Symbiotic Realism” (2007), “Emotional Amoral Egoism” (2008), “Sustainable History and the Dignity of Man” (2009), “Neo-Statecraft and Meta-Geopolitics” (2009), “The Politics of Emerging Strategic Technologies” (2011) and “Meta-Geopolitics of Outer Space” (2012).
Mr. Al-Rodhan was educated at Newcastle University, the Mayo Clinic, Yale University and Harvard University.
